1 Pound+ Lot of Shortwave (SW) UV Fluorescent + SW PHOSPHORESCENT Willemite Mineral Specimens / Rocks!
The Willemite is Bright Green SW UV (Some also Duller Green LW UV too), and is also Very SW Phosphorescent!
There may also be Additional Fluorescent Minerals such as Calcite (Red/Orange SW UV), Microcline (Light Blue and/or Pink SW UV), Zincite (Yellow LW), Sphalerite (Various Colors LW + some weaker SW too), Feldspar (Dull Magenta SW)
With Other Non-Fluorescent Minerals Such as Franklinite (Type Locality), Andradite Garnet, Hendricksite (Type Locality), Zincite (Type Locality), etc...
All Specimens are from the Franklin and/or Sterling Hill Mines, Franklin Mining District, Sussex County, New Jersey, USA
These Lots are Specifically Selected for Willemite which Glows Under Shortwave (SW) Ultraviolet (UV) Light & which is also SW Phosphorescent (Continues to Glow after the SW UV Light is Off)? Some May Also Glow Under Longwave (LW) UV as Well!
All Lots are Individually Checked Prior to Shipment to Ensure that they Show Good Fluorescence & Phosphorescence - You Will Not Receive Any Rocks that Don't Glow!
All Lots will Weigh Over 1 Pound Total Weight - Usually At Least a Few Ounces Over 1 Pound per Lot!
You will receive a randomly chosen lot of rocks that will be similar to those shown in the pics - No specific requests please, as they will be chosen randomly!
Please Note: Fluorescent Minerals Require a Shortwave (SW) and/or Longwave (LW) Ultraviolet (UV) Light for the Fluorescent Response Shown in the Pictures! a Black Light is NOT a SW/LW Light, although Some Rocks May also Show Under Black Light as well!
